This is a symbol of love in potential. It can symbolise all feelings, all emotional possibilities, from an enthusiasm for amorous activities to mysticism. However, a great capacity for love which isn’t being employed would seem most likely. Having a rotten cold isn’t going to be too helpful in that direction either. On a more spiritual level, it is the base of all communication, including that with divine entities. I can’t tell what kind of creature is holding the banner displaying the cup, it’s most likely to be a horse, a domesticated animal and so I feel it points to a lack of affection within the home.
