Daily Draw

Daily Draw Thursday, 03 November 2016 Method: Conver Tarot De Marseille. Card Dawn: The Fool. The Fool has only made one appearance before in June this year, with the RWS deck. Well the day started with me being half asleep when I took the dogs out, resulting in two of them escaping! I hope the measures I’ve taken since will help prevent it happening again. I should have learned from previous experience. The Fool is the only un numbered card in the tarot. The number of zero represents the very moment before creation: unexplored potential. Zero is also the endless circle and cycle of life, without beginning or end, represented by Jormungandr the world serpent, encircling the world and biting on its own tail. It will eventually kill Thunor or Thor at the Ragnarok. This could symbolise the start of a new journey, or needing to be more trusting in the universe, maybe take a leap of faith. It suggests that unexpected opportunities will suddenly appear that can bring welcome changes and I very much hope this is means my new photographic venture, as I can’t imagine anything else new in my life. I am full of energy and enthusiasm for it and fed up waiting to begin. (Awaiting new batteries). The Fool is a force for liberation and by taking bold steps, I may liberate myself from drudgery. I need to remain open, as it will involve the need to make a major choice, seemingly out of the blue. The Fool is also my inner child, that sees with innocence, imagination and wonder; this side of myself deeply buried, lost, due to social conditioning and age. However, The Fool is a reminder to listen to the voice of my inner child and try and recall the excitement of new adventures and stepping out into unknown territory and photography may be just what I need to re kindle the magic. This is a positive card, a good omen.
