Daily Draw Thursday, 27 October 2016 Method: Dark Tarot. Card Drawn: The Emperor This is the third time in 8 days I’ve drawn this card from 3 different decks. This must be significant. The Emperor looks to the past, perhaps with some nostalgia but he’s ready for action and holds a wand in the form of a sceptre and an orb. He represents by his pose, strength at rest. Curiously he’s wearing some kind of hose but no shoes. The throne is solid and sits on top of three stone steps. The Emperor is the 4th Major Arcana card and the number 4 represents that material stability. The day I drew this card 8 days ago I said “The interaction with authority is likely my tax money being taken.” It’s now been taken. The Emperor indicates wealth though, so perhaps I should try the lottery again! However, The Emperor is with me today and he will grant me strength and with someone outside with a power tool removing tiles that don’t need to be removed, I think I’ll need it.
