Method: Gilded Tarot
Card Drawn: Four of Swords
20 ̊ to 30 ̊ Libra.
Last drawn on Tuesday, 09 February 2016 using the Raven Prophesy Tarot, Friday, 04 March 2016 using Lo Scarebeo Tarot, Friday, 22 July 2016 using the Sola – Busca Tarot and Saturday, 10 September 2016 using the Druid Craft Tarot.
When I last drew this card, this is part of what it said, “Patience is something I’ve always struggled with and it’s certainly being put to the test. I may need to sacrifice either a particular client in my mundane job or the property holding everything back in order for something better and more constructive to present itself.” Well thankfully the client mentioned has gone and it’s a weight lifted from my shoulders. Yes, it’s a loss of income but my dignity is restored.
The Four of Swords shows rest, recovery and “recharging batteries” after a period of struggle, stress or strain. The figure on the card is resting but is also deep in contemplation. He has one sword that represents this one problem, but there are other swords hanging over him suggesting there are other issues that will need to be dealt with.
I’m feeling slightly detached from outside events, with a need to retreat inside myself, I feel too weary to participate in anything at the moment. A period of rejuvenation is needed. I want to take some time out to replenish, but it isn’t possible just yet.
Four of Swords is Jupiter in Libra; Jupiter is a beneficial planet and Libra of course is an air sign.
In the kabbalah, the 4 of Swords is represented in Chesed, the 4th sphere of mercy. It corresponds to Jupiter, the planet of expansion and is positioned in Yetzirah, the plane of air and thought.
