Daily Draw Tuesday, 11 October 2016 Method: Tarot De Paris. Card Dawn: Queen of Cups. The Queen of Cups. She is the water element of Water. 20̊ Gemini to 20̊ Cancer 11th June to 11th July. The Queen of Cups represents the Cardinal sign of Cancer and that is the home maker and has a nurturing, caring, loving nature. She is looking away from the cup towards the past, but at the same time holds the cup in the direction of the future. It is a very ornate gold cup which she holds in both hands and the cup is closed, for emotions are difficult to control and sometimes best hidden . I see she is wearing different coloured shoes and her feet are pointing in different directions indicating confusion, probably past emotional lessons may become relevant in the future, or there are conflicting emotions today. I may be on the defensive and definitely feeling closed in. I may experience difficulty expressing my emotions, which may well be stunted and controlled under an external guise of intellect. Never the less, feeling secure. The Queen of Cups rules the third decan of Gemini, the first and second decans of Cancer and the 4th house of home and family is her domain. I was born in the 3rd decan of Gemini, so should have some affinity with the Queen of Cups.
