Daily Draw

Daily Draw Thursday, 29 September 2016 Method: Ogham Ogham Drawn: Tinne (Holly) Ogham phrases: A good portion. – Fires of coal. Hope. Last drawn on Saturday, 12 September 2015. Holly, being an evergreen, is associated with eternal life. It was believed unlucky to cut down this tree. In the Celtic tradition, we have the Holly king ruling the winter and winter is approaching. The Oak king rules the summer. An early reminder of Yule, which I am trying to take as a holiday this year. The message of Tinne though is one of hope. When you feel overwhelmed or in despair, Holly brings hope, even in the depths of winter. A renewed sense of self- worth and the inner strength to continue. There are better days to come. After an exhausting summer, I hope so, I need to re-charge my batteries. One particular difficult client has terminated his contract which is something of a relief. Now I can concentrate on trying to build up the business again with people I can get along with.
