Daily Draw Sunday, 28 August 2016 Method: Tarot De Vieville Card Drawn: Death Last drawn Monday, 26 October 2015 using Lo Scarabeo Tarot. Rarely drawn but often on my mind. The tarot card that in reality, has no name. Only XIII is printed on the card. Death is the realm of the unconscious where confrontation takes place in the shadow lands, the dark side of human nature. Here it is necessary to die before being reborn. My struggle at the moment is one concerning materialism. Like most people, I have to work in order to live, but I’m not living, I’m not a free man when for example, no matter how much effort is put into a job, one is consistently found fault with, even when the fault is not of my making. If I were a free man, I could walk away from the situation. My mind is in a state of melancholy today. It is the material life I must renounce in order to be free, but that would not be practical and so my spirit is held back from developing. At the same time as I get older, I know that time is a luxury that is fast running out and there are daily reminders in the media of how it runs out at young ages for many people.
